How to measure. Lay a top you already own flat and compare. Chest: across the front from stitch to stitch, just below the armpits. Length: from where the shoulder seam meets the collar, straight down to the hem. Shoulder: seam to seam across the back. Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
A genuinely cropped cut — an S is 46cm from collar to hem, so it sits well above the waist. Relaxed through the body with a raw, unfinished edge. Allow 1–3cm variation between garments.
